About Me
My name is Noel Mercedes , I am a NASM nationally certified Personal trainer . I have spent the last 10 years educating , practicing and coaching 100’s of people to hit 1000’s of their fitness goals. I played sports my whole life and have always been into health and fitness from a young age. I started working in the industry professionally after leaving Pennsylvania state University where I studied Exercise science. I got my chance to start coaching with a high end fitness company. I spent 4 yrs training high end clientele in New York City before deciding to venture out and start my own business. Fitness is my passion and with the launch of The Mercedes Method I hope to share my knowledge and expertise with those who need help and are ready to make a change in their lives.

The Neuromuscular Stretching course provided me with the knowledge and rationale for the use of neuromuscular stretching as a muscle lengthening technique within a corrective exercise program. Presented to me by Dr. Mike Clark it detailed how to perform multiple neuromuscular stretches. For me to preform on you my clients.
After completion of this course, i am able to:
•Describe the scientific rationale supporting the use of lengthening techniques in a comprehensive corrective exercise program
•Properly apply neuromuscular stretching to improve range of motion and lengthen overactive, tight structures as part of a comprehensive corrective exercise program
With the versatility of TRX Suspension Training® i have a portable fitness solution to train clients in any setting. I have learned how to properly perform and cue foundation Suspension Training exercises as well as the benefits and target muscles of the exercises , modifications and progressions to adapt the exercises to every fitness level.
Upon completion of this course, i am now able to:
Properly perform a variety of Suspension Training exercises
Progress and regress exercises for all fitness levels
Adjust resistance and stability for all exercises
Cue and correct common faults
Correctly set up and use the TRX Suspension Trainer
CPR / AED
This is one certification i hope i never have to use but sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, at any time. With Red Cross AED and CPR training, i learned when – and how – to use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

This live workshop started by presenting me the latest recommendations from the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
I was taught the rationale of the current guidelines, and how to communicate that to a pregnant client. I then learn how to assess a pregnant client, and design a program, adapting it according to the changes throughout the forty weeks of pregnancy. I then learned the important considerations for helping her get back into shape postpartum.
